I am a neuroscientist and journalist. I did research in Germany and Japan, worked as an editor at Springer science, and was the press speaker for the Technical University Hospital in Munich. I have been a freelance journalist since 2007, have been awarded two journalism prizes, and was voted in 2014 among the top female communication specialists in the German speaking countries. I have written for, among others, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and the Lancet.
